About Me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Michigan with over 25 years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults with various therapeutic issues. I provide a personalized approach to therapy, working with clients' strengths, and helping them improve upon the areas of their life that challenge them the most. My therapeutic approach is to provide encouragement, support, compassion and understanding along with Integrative and Holisitic Therapy which includes body work, somatic techniques, energy healing and Mindfulness techniques.

I have presented a number of in-service trainings in the community and workshops to children and adolescents in the school setting.  I have also conducted presentations on Grief and Loss, Talking to Children about Cancer and Effective Parenting Skills.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three children along with my two precious puppies.  I enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, biking and kayaking.  However, I never turns down an opportunity to read a good book.
