It is my focus is to help individuals heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths and ability to heal. This is achieved by providing a neutral safe space to talk and explore your thoughts and feelings, as well as utilizing a mind/body/spirit approach to offer a well rounded holistic therapy experience.
It is my promise to be there for you every step of your journey. The overall goal is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward toward inner peace, strength and balance.

Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at any point in our lives. Many of us struggle with understanding ourselves and our purpose in life. Through various counseling techniques and a compassionate approach, I are able to help you recover the insight, motivation, perspective, balance and joy that you desire.
Therapy approaches utilized include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Inner child/Parts Therapy and Mindfulness Based Therapy.
Integrative/Holistic psychotherapy utilizes traditional and non-traditional therapies with the purpose of creating an integration of the mind, body and spirit. Holistic Counseling is an approach which helps clients to heal by taking the entire human being and their life experiences into consideration for assessment and treatment purposes. Services include traditional talk psychotherapy and non-traditional therapies including expressive art techniques, somatic therapy techniques, body work, relaxation techniques and mindfulness practices which include guided imagery and meditation. All of this comes together to create a balanced sense of self.
Guided meditation and mindfulness are widely used to create tangible changes in a patient’s overall health by being aware of the moment and actively creating images of well-being. It can help the patient reduce the effects of certain medical and emotional conditions.
To be more specific, meditation is focusing the mind on one particular thing; whether that be a thought, emotion, person, visual guide, sensation, activity, or object. Meditation and mindfulness helps to train the mind to remain calm and focused. It reduces stress and anxiety as the mind learns to be in the present moment rather than wandering to the past or future. Guided meditation can be incorporated into your therapy session or through attending a guided meditation group.
